You are now ready to make an application to purchase your home. You will need a mortgage lender. The real estate agent/broker you are working with will have a list of lenders they work with. You can also research mortgage lenders on the Internet. You can compare what the local lender your agent is working with is offering as an interest rate with the lenders on the Internet. If you want to work with a local lender, sometimes they will match a lower rate you may find elsewhere.
